Have you tried converting them to the mp3 format? I've got something
called CD-DA Ex-tractor. You should be able to find something, but
that's what I'd try...

Hi, my wife is a court reporter and has recently switched to digital
sound files for her recordings. She would like to e-mail these sound
files and they are anywhere from 15 to 25 megs. Does anyone know of a
program to compress these files? Free perhaps, or cheap. Zipping didn't
make much difference.
