I haven't used Silo or Modo (though I have been keeping track of them). To me, it looks like a cross between Cinema 4D and Amapi, the two modelers I use the most.
If Eovia's building it from the ground up, I suspect it will have features drawn from a number of different modelers currently on the market and, perhaps, some features no one has seen before.
Either way, it looks very interesting.
