For those who are IRC deficient, here's a quick preview of what is being
discussed.
A new modeller HEXAGON is being previewed. Here are links to movs that show the
interface in action:

I tuned in late, so I am not sure but I believe this will be a stand-alone
modeller(?) that will
be extremely user friendly. Amapi will continue to go in its high-end "pro"
direction.
HEXAGON will not have rendering or animation capabilities on its own....
