Back Hi Allan. Welcome to TrueSpace! Funny thing... I just smelled burning toast and noticed that your email address is allan@(protected) Anyway.. My recommendations for must-have plugins: MotionStudio by Primitive Itch (www.primitiveitch.com). This is a replacement for Truespace's native bones system. I have personally never seen a complaint (only user feature suggestions) on the forums. depak: includesMonster toolkit. This is a collection of plugins for modelling. Also includes clothmotion, a plugin for cloth simulation (duh :-D ), and other plugs. fxpak: another cd, with special effects plugins. My personal favorite here is PyroCluster; this is also a plugin for 3DS Max. PC is a volumetric fractal generator, for creating realistic, pyroclastic clouds, fireballs, self-interacting fog, etc. TSNET: Oh yeah. This plugin allows you the option of network rendering. If you have a couple computers at home, get the 3 node version. I have 2 PCs at home, and plan to get a 3rd. The latest version allows multiple PCs to render segments of a still image, in addition to animation rendering. raypak: another plugin pak on cd, this one is for light modelling. anipak is good too, but personally, I only use the dynaWave plugin, which is used for making realistic water motion, snow drifts, etc. ipak is an excellent choice if you want to render in layers (very important indeed!). A lot of this info is on this page: http://caligari.com/store/Plugins/tSdefault.asp?Cate=STtSPlugins A couple weeks ago, there was a special where you could get all 4 paks for a special price. Maybe if you talk to Caligari they can still swing that for you. There is also a truebones plugin, which imports motion capture data (I think); I have not used it and have not been able to check out the website but it is worth a look. Well, I think that's about all I can think of. Welcome to the community! Jason
