You probably have some extra keyframes. . .  I've found it is often
easiest to delete the original and add new one to replace it.

1) Move the slider to time 0
2) Add a new camera
3) Use the camera pulldown in the upper left corner to set the view
to your new camera, then do a "set position to" to your old camera.
4) Delete the old camera
5) Set the zoom on your new camera

Make sure you keep the slider at time 0 until you are done.
