continuing on the looping skies saga, here's a preview of something I
started in Carrara 4 (old sky) and took it into the beta of PD Pro 3.1
to make it looping:

http://thebest3d.com/dogwaffle/tuts/loopanim/

There's an html file in it which plays the swf (Flash) file. That one
will be looping.

The Quicktime version is best downloaded locally and then played in
local player so you can Control-L or Apple-L or whatever on Mac (Cmd-L
? ) to enable looping.

The Avi version is in Mpeg4 Xvid codec.

There is a new 'make looping' feature coming to Dogwaffle 3.1. It
blends a bunch of user-selectable frames from the end with the start
of the anim. In a case like this moving sky it works well because the
clouds are already doing their hide-and-seek thing and dissolving on
and off so it's not easy to see where the looping repeat thing
happens. In fact in this case all frames are blended to some extent,
as I select half the frames of the anim to be blended.(with the other
half).
