Very nice stuff!  Creating convincing 3D illustrations of actual
products is more impressive to me than the art side of things - because
it has to be accurate.

I have a question - as a software developer of 16 years that was
downsized late last year I have an opportunity to do something
different.  While I'd still like to continue creating software
solutions, I'd also like to be able to stretch out and do some graphics
work.  My question is what type of industry do you think would be good
for that type of career?  I'm considering TV stations, maybe advertising
companies...any ideas?  I think that having a bit of diversity will go a
long way to having a rewarding career...  Anyone doing something like
that out there?

Thanks,

Glen

You're wrong. What you've done *IS* exciting work
to ME! Carrara really excells is this sort of work. It is
a great piece of software to help designers illustrate
products. Many of us guys are on the Carrara list, but
I think we are sometimes forgotten by the Eovia folks.

Most of us don't need the whiz-bang features. We just
need solid software that's easy to use with great,
predictable results and a minimum of work-arounds.
It's the work-arounds that I wish there were fewer of. :-)

Thanks for sharing your images!
