I just recently discovered CGTalk and CGNetworks and so far I like them a lot.
I like them much better than Renderosity and I don't know why there isn't more
of an Eovia presence there. Maybe they're just addressing a different cross
section of artists - seems like there are a lot of game and film people who
hang out there.
I would definitely recommend a trip to cg talk to take a look at some of the
things that people are working on. Some really fine work there and many things
to get inspired by.
A lot of it is not really anything that couldn't be done (more or less) with
Carrara...
