Same answer for PC or MAC; if your files and multiuse of programs never uses all your RAM, adding more will do no good. But if you track RAM usage and you approach 90% often with your work; best to be thinking of getting more RAM unless you don't ever increase your RAM demand. Better safe than sorry.

Hi all-
I'm on a G5 dual 2 gig with 1.5 gigs right now - gonna be adding some RAM and I'm just wondering what effect it may have on performance... is it the standard "the more the better" or does the curve flatten out toward a certain point?
(Carl, this'll mean faster video editing... hee hee)
