I have C4D with everything on it. Thinking particles, Bodypaint,
Dynamics, Mocca the entire works. I was invited to test everything for
them. The product manager even gave me an extra complimentary package
so  that I would use it to create a DVD project. I even have
MotionBuilder.
I happen to like lots of things that C4D has specially in the
character animation department and I love thinking particles.
So the question that I get ask by others is: If you have all these
HIGH end 3D applications why do keep using Carrara? Good question... I
happened to like Carrara I find it easy to use. I just wish that it
had the features that C4D has like: Thinking particle cause the
Carrara particles are HORRIBLE. Also the character animation tools.
Get those into Carrara and it will be set just fine.

Even Wayne aka MDC now has Softimage XSI and he loves the character
animation tools in it.

Carrara has made some progress in the character animation department
but it has a long way to go before it gets to the level of C4D or XSI.

But maybe in the next version... I hope...and if not I can always fall
back to C4D for my animation work.
