Hello and forgive me if this idea is stupid.
I'm assuming that you dont have Carrara 3, if so just reinstall it and add
vectorstyle to it,
then Install vectorstyle to your V4 and patch.

So here is a workaround assuming that you don't have V3.
Download the trial version of Carrara 3, which I just checked is still on the
website.
Add vectorstyle to it. Then Install Vectotrstyle onto V4.

Hope it works, I have Vectorstyle and it installed fine, of course I still have
V3 installed
with it so that helped. The patch seems to work as well.
