How am I supposed to install Vectorstyle plugins??? 2005-03-04 - By Jason Sheldon

I bought the Vectorstyle plugins from Eovia... disappointed to find the
CD-R in the case was scratched to buggery.... but nevertheless, at least
the installer loaded, so the disc reads fine.
Unfortunately, there are only versions for CS2 and CS3 on the disc... no
support for CS4, which is ok, I knew that, and knew there is a patch on the
Eovia website...
However. The 'patch' insists on only installing if it finds a current
install of Carrara AND vectorstyle (naturally)... but the installers on the
CD don't recognise that I've already got Carrara 4 installed......
So I can't install the original version, nor can I install the update, until
I've installed the original version....
Catch 22.
Called Eovia tech support, only to be greeted by a menu system entirely in
French (Wouldn't mind if it said tech support for france, but it says for
all of Europe, Africa and Middle East!).
Emailed them, but don't know how long they'll take to answer...
Anyone here got Vectorstyle installed with CS4 Pro???
