importing file from amapi to cararra - nothing in the modelling room!? 2005-02-22 - By bty802637

Imported a file into carrara 4 pro from amapi designer 7.16
using default settings.
no problem with the group appearing.
no problem separating group into 'polyhedric volumes'.
problem: object does not appear in modelling room
tried converting to vertex object, but despite the stats appearing
in the box on the right nowt appears
what's happening?
am going to post this without having looked in forum past so
apologies if it's been covered - will be checking now, but if any
wisdom would be greatly appreciated.
what i want to do with it: change to vertex object, copy the
object, modify it, use the modified copy as a morph target, then
animate.

thoughts.
