How would people feel about participating in a weekly chat? A chat
specifically
geared towards a topic. Some examples: UV mapping, The terrain editor,
Amapi,
etc.
The idea is to get more interest and interaction between the community.
Currently there is a nightly chat that consists of 8-10 people. But
I'd love to
see the community get more together, and a theme for a weekly chat
might get
some discussion going and might help people learn more about Carrara.
If so, what would be a good time for everyone? And where would you
like to have
it, I believe yahoo has a chat, but it might be nice to have it on IRC
to keep
things consistent. I'd also like to see about having the room open
24/7, and am
curious if anyone has the resources to setup a bot, that would op certain
people, and could keep the room open. I've seen truespace, blender, etc
communities that have an active realtime community, and Carrara should
too.
