surface emitted streaks don 't show up 2003-12-04 - By Elvira Pinkhas

Hi,
I am trying to surface emit streak particle and they just do not show up in
maya or in the renders. Multi-streaks also don't show up and all other
particle types are OK.
Is this some kind of a graphics card problem or a bug in Maya? Does anyone
know how this can be resolved.
As always, your help is greatly appreciated.
