Is it established that the sequence of areas given to Emmanuel
will give a "constant" transition from circle to square? If so,
why not just set the transition height to the given maximum and
let tS do the usual thing? If the sequence of areas is NOT a
constant transition, and follows some profile, then there's more
to it than just managing the number of vertices.

And if those areas are really supposed to be accurate to 5
decimal places, then it would appear that tS is not the best
tool for the job. If they're NOT supposed to be that accurate,
one wonders if the originator of the project knows exactly what
he's asking for.
