Right,when ya joining the branches to the trunk "Boolean" will need to
do a little fixen around the joints.
probably just weld a few vertices together.

Oh!  <smacking self in head>  I just realized - maybe I shouldn't be
moving
the branches at all!  Maybe I should Decompose (that's what I couldn't
think of - that's what the "orange stick man" does...), THEN immediately
savethe whole thing as a COB, then reload the COB, and *then* Join the
branches to the trunk - maybe the inside faces will disappear when
they're
joined.  THat's what usually happens with normal objects.  DOH!  <Kris
feeling stupid!>

I'll have to try that....
