Back Were you rendering to individual frames and toggling motion blur on and off?
This occurred to me when I tried to cheat a bit on motion blur. That is, turn motion blur on for those frames where the objects are up close and moving quickly through the frame. Then turn motion blur off once the object is far away.
Given that the motion blur is made up of overlapping frames of multiple camera positions around a central KFE position, then I could see how this could happen should you toggle it on and off in the middle of an animation.
Thanks, Dave Angelini
