Bingo! That did it. I remember now, I flipped that switch thinking it
related more directly to the nuts 'n' bolts of Boolean-ing... well maybe it
does, but all it seems to do at the moment is screw up the face select! ^_^

It just goes to show: if you don't know what it is, don't mess with it. ^_^
