Back Poser stock meshes our a disaster for Main 3D App's like TrueSpace,LW,C4D. I forgot one of my app's counts dots, and all it does it automatically Did find some dots with 3 lines but some our just there for no reason. and where ya would think to find them there not there. Ya know when ya have a mesh with a real hi poly count and ya reduce it and get a mesh that's not flowing. That's what Poser meshes reminds me of. I had that free DAZ toon Character but miss placed it.Don't remember what the mesh looked like. have none of there Realistic Character's. seen a review where there meshes looked to bend better in Poser. This Artist is selling a mesh "Margo" Poly count 90,000. <http://www.3dcommune.com/3d/store/display.mv?new%2Bvs_alek_margo> http://www.3dcommune.com/3d/store/display.mv?new+vs_alek_margo#alek_marg o

I hadn't looked, but that explains why they seem to behave oddly sometimes when brought into trueSpace.

I don't specifically make Poser objects (still haven't gotten the hierarchy/joint animation aspects to work). But my guess would be that it's just a function of what 3D program the mesh-maker is using, and whether the mesh is cleaned-up.
It *might* be that the meshes you buy (e.g., Michael and Victoria) have "cleaner" meshes, but that's just a guess on my part. OTOH it'd make sense that someone would work harder on a mesh they're selling rather than either "giving away" so to speak or providing as a stock item that's part of the basic program. Or it might be that the people who sell mashes (one is 3Daz I think...?) have to be good to make any $$ doing so and might make "cleaner" meshes?
Again, tho', I'm just guessing...
