Back Hey Robert, Well, I remember you but obviously not well enough to remember anything bad :)
I did the original Alien Encounters for what is now called the MacMillan Space Centre. The visitor's face was captured by camera and then morphed in real time using some code I had written by Russian programmers. (The alien's face was pre-rendered of course...:)
People had to follow the dots, but I think I am going to use some edge detection in the new version...possbibly some other calculations so come up with a different alien face type more closely matched to the person's face.
Actually most of the work I did in Rage was with 3D Studio, except for an archaeological reconstruction done in Maya that was simply beautiful.
I have had too much time on my hands since selling Rage, so I learned PHP, Flash and now Carrara, Poser, Vue, Bryce. I figure these programs go together rather well, and will help me figure out how to do something different without having a clear idea at the start about what that will be... a modus operandi I could never afford when I had to meet the payroll ...
Anyway, check out this site, which doesn't have much right now...but it is where I am going to start...

What you been up to Robert?
