Carrara 4, SIGGRAPH

Carrara 4, SIGGRAPH

So I guess my speculation that Carrara 4 was going to be announced
before or at SIGGRAPH (like for the past two releases) was wrong.
SIGGRAPH has started and not even a peep from Eovia. Are they even at
the show? Can someone in L.A.confirm this?
So, I start speculating again. They probably have had problems getting
C4's bugs down to an acceptable level to go from a controlled beta to
a public beta.
So now that they missed SIGGRAPH, which was a lost opportunity for
media and costumer exposure, marketing and sales, they could probably
take their time and work towards getting a good and stable product out
the door without any rush. This leads me to speculate that they will
not be releasing soon, but at the end of the year. Anybody taking bets?
