Eric,
I think I have found a small bug in StarBright, or/and in Carrara.
Here is how to reproduce it, at least on my system.
1- New scene, empty, everything default.
2- Scene->Environment->StarBright, also default settings.
3- Render Room, Output, format, film, AVI type.
4- render: everything is fine.
5- Change the output setting, using TIFF format, and check alpha channel
box.
6- render: no star
7- change back the output setting, using once again AVI. The alpha channel
is still checked, but grayed, you cannot uncheck it.
8- render: this time, even in AVI, no star.
9- If you revert once again to TIFF, uncheck alpha box, then back to AVI,
then render, the stars are back.

I think Carrara should uncheck itself the alpha box when settled in AVI, or
StarBright should check it by itself.

laptop Dell 8200, PIV 2 Gigs, 512 Megs RAM, ATI GeForce2 Go 32 Megs
