Actually, this may be more a fault of your video card, than anything else. You *can* manipulate the object in the texture room, just as outlined (rotate, zoom, etc). Just use the "Dolly" and "Track" tools on the left of the Shader Property window. If for some reason they do not engage when you try to manipulate them, try exiting and re-entering the texture room again. I know the NVidia video card on my 98 machine is not as consistent with moving items in the texture room as I would like. However, I am finding that the new ATI card that I now have is better at doing these types of things (btw, I think I will be sticking with ATI from now on as a video card company).
