Well I have both TS6.6 with pretty much every plugin etc for it and
also Carrara 3.

I would say that TS animation is not really much better lol but
thats coming from a total newbie to both.

I hate certain things about each application but tend to stick to
using Carrara for its ease of use and brilliant renderer (Although I
hate the npr side as I cant figure it out. WOuld have been nice for
a realtime update ;)) ANimation is a no go for now as I hate the
issues with Carrara bones etc and TS animation (Character that is) I
just cant work out.

Truespace physics are fun to play with. (In fact my kids spent a lot
of time just building walls etc and crashing cars into them so for
that type of thing its simple and fun)

As a side note try selling TS on and you will find great difficulty.
I tried and got no takers and that with even the new plugins and all
training videos. lol. So from that point of view it could be wasted
money as well.
