Congrats Naomi! You deserve it. :-)
I'm saving my nickels and dimes for a nice laptop and a new powerhouse for
my home station. Nice thing is I can retire my home equipment to the
business every Xmas and let the other stuff go down the chain. This year
we'll retire the last of the P-3's to the intell graveyard and have P-4's on
all 6 stations at work. :-)

Yuppers. Actually I am just back from the store! Gonna be having some
down time now, while I set up the new and transfer stuff from the old, etc.
But I thought I'd bring you up to date on a few things I opted for. I
got the extra ram, so I'll be at 2 gig. The new computer DID come with
a firewire, but this one didn't have one - so I bought one for this one,
and an 80 gig external hard drive that I can connect to each, so the
transfer of files/data will be hugely simplified!
Oh, and I also got the 5900 XT video card.
That's basically it. My husband will be happy in the long run, when he
gets this computer, and I'm TOTALLY happy, cause I'm getting some really
nice upgrades!!
