Re: Possibly Found Poser "Knight in Armor ", But Need Poser 5 HELP!...( 2004-07-10 - By ccoles_avengers
Back Thanks Richard, Harvey, and Naomi for your responses.
Richard, Harvey, believe it or not, just before banging my head clear off of my shoulders, I was able to hack around and discover a "Conform to" option in the Figure Menu which I was able to use to conform the body of armor onto the male figure (I also could not use the default male figure, but the male Don derobbed figure to make this work). So 99% of this phase is done. <phew> But I am still facing one major problem.
Naomi, Queen of Poser [ I ignore your protests :) ], the suit of armor I am using is from the Content CD entitled "Dragon Armor" under Clothing > 15th Century > Male Outfit section. My only problem now is when I apply the "Conform to" method to the helmet, it conforms to the model's neck! I can't figure how to get it to work to jsut conform to the head [everything else worked so nicely, too]. Theoretically speaking, I am thinking that as a work around, if I export the helmet separately, I could manually align it to the head in CS3, however, this would be time consuming, I'm sure (if the head was a separate object in CS3, I could technically use the align or track functions, however, I notice that all imported Poser body parts are seen as one object). Naomi, if you could help me figure out how to attach the helmet onto the head, I would truly appreciate it.
I plan to be up late doing several things so I will check back later.
Thanks for your offer to help. :)
Cheers.
