You can say that again about the website. I downloaded the PDF
manual to "flip" through it. I can honestly say that I'm not
impressed with anything in Bryce when comparing it to Carrara. Bryce
seems to be built for outdoor scenes and the examples given in the
book for houses is downright lame. They had nice pictures, sure, but
the how to parts were very unimaginative. (they used a pramid with a
flatten sphere booleaned out from the bottom of it, added four walls,
and called that a house...)
I cann't say much on either C's or Bryce's tree generator. I did
also note that Bryce had a "rock" generator. Why? Are rocks
suppostively hard to make? :-P
After reading about Bryce, I'm glad I've stayed with the successor of
Ray Dreams (which I also own).
