Re: Are There Any Good Links for Beginner Tutorials for Poser 5 Aroun 2004-06-22 - By ccoles_avengers
Back Hi Krzysztof,
Thanks for the link. It seems like a place to start with. I will be looking more through the forums.
Just to share some things re: my search, what I am hoping to find are tutorials that will also have screenshots (or even vido clips for that matter) and not simply text instructions. Getting used to the interface seems challenging in and of itself. What I am finding out, however, that even the manual's tutorials have some errors in it which have thrown me off until I have been able to figure them out. For instance on page 68 of the Poser 5 manual, it states in the clothing section to click the "Apply Library Preset button" to add the garment to the scene. However, this button *does not exist*, at least not from what I can tell. It took me a while to look for it amongst the other interface buttons and I concluded that it wasn't there. Then when I used the "Create New Figure" button, it worked: very different from "Apply Library Preset" if you ask me. So this is the type of thing I am hoping to avoid when searching for a *beginner's* Poser 5 tutorial.
Thanks again for the link.
