Back Ah, well, with a little poking around, I find that one must select "Mask" in the G-Buffer to allow for transparency selection.
Everything works correctly now except for one serious impediment: each rendered frame contains a duplicate image of all frames rendered previously to it, with the latest frame "on top", creating a stair-step effect. This is not apparent while Carrara is rendering it. But when I open the sequence in Adobe ImageReady, or import it into Flash MX, there it is. How to get around this?
