It seems to go through cycles of high activity and low activity. Summer
alays is slower because a lot fo people are either on vacation, or rushing
like mad to finish up stuff at work in preparation for going on vacation,
or are working like mad trying to catch up after returning from vacation
(and/or fix all the crew-ups that occurred while they were away).
ALso, there seem to be general "energy cycles" of a sort - sometimes there
will be a few topics that everyone seems to be excited (or upset!) about,
and the list will be all a-buzz. Other times, people are just laid back or
just busy doing their own things, or whatever.
