I'm going through the Carrara Studio Handbook and have been looking at the
chapter on
Vertex modeling.
On page 170 it says to add vertices to begin subdividing with teh "add" tool. I
can't seem
to add anything that looks at all like the top of page 171 (all the vertices
are rectangularly
shaped). I've gotten the model correct up until that point (deleted polygons,
gotten the
smooth surface), but I can't seem to subdivide as I expect I should be able to.
