Bonjour Nospam,
While I'm a dedicated Macromedia FreeHand (and Illustrator when I have
to) user, I've always been intrigued by this program. I'm an
Illustrator by profession, so any new tool is worth exploring, and I've
seen some nice stuff (including yours, by the way) done with this
program. I haven't really tried it yet, I did try the Illustrator
export function, and it worked quite well. Apparently the Illustrator
export has been fixed in this version. As far as why it is being
offered for free, it wouldn't surprise me in the least if you were
correct in that Microsoft would be dropping development for the Mac. In
the meantime though, I'll take advantage of this free version to
increase my toolset.
