Animated Gif in PowerPoint 2004-04-22 - By northwatchmantech
Back Hi All,
I am having a problem with an animated gif (radar rotating)I created. I originally made this animated gif for the web and it looks great. My problem is that now my boss wants to use it in a powerpoint presentation we have coming up. When I load the same gif in powerpoint, the gif acts like it's on speed. It rotates at around 5 times as fast as it should. I have tried changing frames per second or double and tripling the length of the animated to slow it down but then the animated gif becomes so big, it's useless because of the size of the file. What is everyone else's experience? What should my animated gif settings be at to get relativly clean motion but small file size? Is an animated gif better than a .mov when using powerpoint?
Thank you. Northwatch
