That's how I got my copy too, I don't think it would matter in registration
by who and where the CDs were bought. To Eovia they're all the same as long
as you bought them legally. So it may be tax issues, I don't really know
about this, but if you bought something and bring it to another country,
there could be some kind of tax that you should pay. Not all kind of items
are objected to this tax and under some certain value, you likely don't have
to pay anything. Well, I'm not really sure, maybe someone here knows about
this? I actually bought all my softwares this way. You see, in my country
they don't buy softwares, they just ripped them :). So if I'm looking for
original softwares it's much easier to get them from another country. Can
you believe walking to a shopping mall and see a copy of Amapi 7 (pirated)
for around US$ 2 only??

I've been playing with a demo version of Carrara 3 and think its
definately for me but when I look at the price I find its far more
expensive ordering from the UK (far beyond mere VAT issues).
So I want to get a mate who's off to Canada this week to buy me a
copy there as that will only be ?64 (a massive saving).
I want her to get it from the Eovia website I'll buy it with my card
if I can and have it delivered to Canada. Does anyone know if this
will effect my registration of the product? The CD's will come to
her family home and she will bring them back to the UK and from
there I assume I will install the product and register online and it
won't matter "where" the CD's were bought and "who" bought them?
Or am I wrong in this? It will matter that when and who bought them?
