In CS3...all you do is draw the profile...solid or not..and then
click the edge you want to use as the axis of rotation...say you
drew the glass shape you see as the example in the manual...just
click the inner edge of the model....press the plus or minus keys
depending upon how high you want he poly count..and then press enter
voila! Just did a test worked out fine.

If anyone is interested..I could start a section that could be a
tips section..people could submit and then it could be searchable....
