Problem using image in Vertex Modeler 2004-03-29 - By MackDawk@(protected)

I'm trying to place an image as a backdrop in the Vertex Modeling Room. When
the image file chooser dialog comes up, whatever image file I click on, I get
the message "image not found, relocate it." It shows the image in the
preview, so obviously it did find it. But nothing is ever imported. I've
tried
importing files in different formats -- PICT, TIFF, etc.
I'm using Macintosh OS 9.2.1 and Carrara 303 updater OS 9 US.
Does this feature work for anybody out there?
