Back Strange, the jpeg was created at 95%. Is your monitors color depth/quality set to 256 color or 16 bit? Web Browsers tend to strobe or pixilate jpegs on monitors set that low. I have mine set at 32 bit and the image looks fine.
The version 9 image was created using a fake subsurface scattering shader, which unfortunately made it look overly brite, like I had set the ambient value to some non-zero value. I believe the shader was supposed to be self-luminating without any lights in the scene. No-lights can lead to problems if you want something other than just a floating head to show up :)

The image was badly pixalated on my browser. -- -- Original Message -- -- From: Slaughter, Stan To: truespace@(protected) Sent: Wednesday, June 09, 2004 9:53 AM Subject: [TSML] Still Working - Need Skin Reflectance Ideas
