Hot Dog!  That works perfectly.  It isn't intuitive HOW to use that
tool.  I was selecting both objects and then trying to
Ctrl+Alt+Click the vertex and it wouldn't work.  It isn't intuitive
that you select the object, then the vertex, then the thing you want
to subtract.

P.S. Carrara didn't crash either!
