Re: Eovia? Ships Amapi 7 Pro 2004-03-25 - By ikajunga
Back My hand automatically jumped to my credit card, it has been a long time in coming. I agree with the limited set of NURBS export/import formats, for so many years IGES has been so bad!. Should also include STEP and Rhino3D 3DM format. Rhino3D has such a great 3D import/export capability that is is almost worth it for these alone. I intend to use it in a design environment aswell as building 3D concept models to go into Carrara3 for rendering. I was a bit disappointed to see that you had to collapse the history tree to do certain functions (same as Amapi Designer), such as assign a different radius to another edge.
However, I'm really looking froward to the arrival of it and spending even more of my time infront of the computer!
