Bonjour SB,

Sorry for the tone if you felt offended.
The fact that English is not my daily language may sometime have the
effect that I don't understand all the subtle tones of what I write
and may ending writing in ways that I feel friendly but may be
perceived a little something else (arrogant in your case) by the
readers.
Sorry for not being born English-speaking ;-)
My proposal was not intended to be arrogant.

By the way it was a free offer, not a commercial one.
My goal was to help Eric improve an area of the Carrara comunity that
I find both friendly and usefull. The fact that these pages (the
weekly image) are using a feel and look of the late 90's is an
objective fact. It is not, in my mind, negative critics. There are
many reasons possible for this fact. It may be that Eric don't know
how to do it (there is no shame in that) or it may be that he knows but
doesn't have time to do it (no shame in that either) or it may be that
he knows, have the time but havn't feel the interest in that upgrade.
By the way I received no answer so I guess the third solution may be
the right one. It is just fine as well. Or maybe he is just too busy.
That's fine as well. As long as I am concerned I have been wanting to
offer him my help for a year or son and only found the time yesterday
to offer it actually...

My point was to offer some small improvements with very light and W3C
compliants solutions, mainly a CSS style sheet. CSS is probably the
less invasive upgrading methode for websites, along with use of some
interesting tags introduced in HTML 4.0.
