Re: Circular Text 2004-02-25 - By ccoles_avengers
Back Hi David,
I guess that I am so use to the three step approach in AMAPI now, that I hardly had given it another thought about doing this type of work in Carrara again. When I had first tried doing this in CS3, I used the BEND modifier with marginal results, but it was pretty cumbersome for me. I guess if I had your instructions earlier in the game, I would probably had stuck with Carrara for this particular feature. But now I guess I am spoiled with how quickly AMAPI can place a text onto a path, that I now am in the habit of preparing my pathed text in AMAPI and importing it into Carrara for final assembling, etc. However, I think that your directions have some good points that I could possibly apply towards other things, so I'm going to check them out.
Cheers.
