Back here is a tought that has been juggling in my mind for a while.
the question is:
are graphic software companies deliberately holding featurres out when they release a new version of their software.
it seems that not long ago you had to wait at least or almost 2 years to see a new version of a program to come, now sometimes even under a year and you have to spend again to get the new gadgets included in the new version of your favorite software.
it feels more and more like the cpu wars where each month intel and amd come out with the supreme cpu but the next month that supreme cpu is not so supreme anymore.
believe me i have tried every major 3d graphic apps out there and i find that some of them are extremely good while others have cool features.
but another question comes to mind now. since all those software are accessible, are companies making the effort to look at those features and trying to implement them in their app, i don' t mean blatently stealing an idea from an app but saying that " hey we should be able to do that in our app too and why not".
after all it is a question of getting the "coding" done.
i know if i don't like an app i can always looks someplace else. like they say if you don't like pepsi drink coke but then again it is still pop.
i wonder if the effort is made sometimes or things delayed for the sake of profit only.
just a tought
