Specifically, those with experience with the Torque Game Engine, which
is what is being used for this project. It should also be noted that the
payment is(as most independent projects are) royalty-based.

Epic Frontiers(www.EpicFrontiers.com) is a realtime online persistent
world game of completely unique content. Not trying to copy the fantasy
genre that is so prevalent in the current persistent world market(nor
trying to compete with the large persistent worlds on the market), Epic
Frontiers plans to change that by adding it?s own unique style and
gameplay.

Based on high-level real world social dynamics, Epic Frontiers is about
the inevitable conflict of emerging civilizations. Play as one of over a
half-dozen playable factions, all with allegiance to seperate empires
and kingdoms, or play a criminal that has allegiance to none.

Rich content ensures that explorers are rewarded for exploration as much
as warriors are rewarded for combat. Crafting, guilds, community
projects, and scheduled events are all present, as are player versus
player combat.

The current stage of the project is holding steady on the verge of a
playable alpha. Gameplay elements are almost done for the current
milestone(scheduled combat, dice-roll-based rules, etc), and the terrain
for the world is in place. Scenery objects are being created and placed,
the main GUI is in place, and other gameplay elements are being
implemented(tradeskills, inventory system, etc). A test database is
implemented and up and running, while the "live" database has it's
structure refined.

DigitalFlux Entertainment, LLC(www.DigitalFlux.com) is currently seeking
additional staff to help finish this project(we're trying for an
end-of-the-year "small area" launch). Artists are needed to help our
smaller early-production art staff to ramp up content production.
Animators are needed to get our player character templates moving.
Coders/Scriptors are also needed to help implement gameplay features and
code in certain features not present in the engine such as DTS morph
target systems for character creation. Applicants should meet the
following minimum requirements:

1) Must be 18 years old or older, and be willing to sign NDA and
work-for-hire agreements. To clarify, these agreements will not prevent
you from working on other projects.

2) Must be able to perform in one or more of the three areas of low-poly
modelling, texture creation, or animation. Please have samples.

3) Coders and scriptors must have a copy of the TGE, and the knowledge
to work with it(C++, Torque-Script). Samples appreciated.

4) Must be able to dedicate time to the project in order to be
productive, and have a good work ethic.

If you are a qualified applicant, then the Epic Frontiers team hopes to
hear from you soon!
