Let 's talk HDRI 2004-02-20 - By Andrew Turner
Back I keep running upstairs (here) to check my stupid little animation flyaround-thingie of some shapes on a platform with an HDRI background, and am just AMAZED at how good it looks. I'm going to try running a more complex and larger one overnight! Yeah!
What I'd love is if there were a way to create HDRI background files (light probe?) on a Mac - I know HDRShop is available for PC, and maybe I'll use that.
But what I'd most like to see, now or eventually, is a plugin for Photoshop that lets you open and edit an HDR file, or, better yet, turn any image into an HDR image.
I've been reading through Devevec.org and getting lots of good info.. I'm getting the feeling that's the best place to read, so I'm looking for suggestions.
Thanks Andrew
