Back Hello Harvey,

I did run scandisk and so far, no errors, although I do need to do a surface scan to do a more thorough test (the system said it would take 2 hours and 20 minutes, so this would definitely be an over-nighter).
But what I tried doing next was to notch my acceleration setting back a notch. *So far*, it has been stable. Hopefully it is just simply this. If I continue to get errors, even after doing a defrag, then I really won't know what the next option is.

Yes, I had tried your fourth option earlier, but deleting objects had only temporarily fixed things. Unfortunately, the problem still persisted; even after CS3.03 had just saved a file, it would not save a subsequent one, etc.
I'm really hoping it is the acceleration setting that is causing this and nothing else.
Thanks for the sugesstions.
Thanks.
