Well, the vertex modeler seems like it can do what you are looking for -
Do you have an image or photo of a "real" bag that points out which areas
you're having trouble with?

Any tutorials or advice on how to create a bag? I'm thinking of
something like a bag of Hershey Kisses or Potato chips. Problem I
have is with the free flowing folds and depressions that a poly bag
would have when lying flat.
