Image as model in vertex modeler not working C3 2004-02-15 - By Chris

Hi,
I'd appreciate any help in this. On page 222 of the Carrara 3 manual
it says you can use an image as backdrop in vertex modeler. I
followed instructions and went to Global in Properties tray, I chose
an image file, and enabled. But nothing showed up in the specified
windowpanes (front/back or left/right or top/bottom). I tried them
all and even alternated loading/enabling and other combos. Nothing
worked and no images showed up in interactive windows (I also tried
combos of different images and acceptable file types).
What am I doing wrong or why is it not working?
