Back Hey Mike, guess what...it worked! :) Thanks so much for the CAR file, it was really helpful.
I did find out one thing though; even though the "plane" of the terrain relief is transparent, if it comes in contact with the object containing the glass shader, it will become visible to some degree. Perhaps it is an additive thing; transparent objects mixing with non-transparent objects yields a degree of visibility in the transparent object. I don't know, but I was able to work around it by bringing the relief just a little forward of the glass object and it worked just fine.
BTW, the meeting went really well and even though I showed the other material, they really liked the logo design and are looking forward to seeing the glass and other variations. So I will be send the glass version out in a few minutes.
Thanks again for the help and I appreciate everyone's assistance with this. I am planning on exploring the other options folks gave to see how they work.
