Have you tried moving the infinite plane up to 10.3. I know when you do
that, it will look like you've lost half of your countries, but a quick
render with the camera icon will show otherwise. Because your countries
are basically flat on the top, I'm assuming it's the shapes of the
countries you are interested in, and that will work.
